Adjust the precision when working on the laser chuck

NEWS | 2019-09-19 11:12 作者:admin
Laser chucks In the turning of large quantities of workpieces, the use of soft jaws can improve the positioning accuracy of the workpiece and save the auxiliary time of workpiece installation. In order to change the diameter and shape of the claw arc at any time according to actual needs, the three-jaw chuck quenching claw is replaced by a low carbon steel, copper or aluminum alloy claw. If the chuck jaws are two-piece, the chuck jaws can be replaced with soft metal; if the chuck jaws are integral, a soft metal block can be attached to the chuck jaws.
By processing the claw shape of the laser chuck and the new three-jaw chuck, the positioning accuracy of the workpiece can be improved. The workpiece positioning accuracy after installation is less than 0.01mm. If the flat thread of the three-jaw chuck is seriously worn and the precision is poor, after the optical processing laser chuck is replaced, the positioning accuracy of the workpiece after installation can be kept within 0.05 mm. The soft jaw clamps the machined surface or soft metal, making it difficult to clamp the surface. For thin-walled workpieces, the fan-shaped jaws increase the contact area with the workpiece and reduce the deformation of the workpiece. The laser chuck is suitable for semi-finishing turning and fine turning of workpieces on the surface to be processed, as a reference for positioning accuracy in mass production.
The correct adjustment and rotation of the laser chuck is the primary condition for ensuring the accuracy of the laser chuck. The bottom of the soft claw and the positioning platform should slide with the bottom of the claw and be positioned correctly. The soft-claw portion for clamping the workpiece is 10-15 mm longer than the hard-claw portion and can be rotated multiple times and assembled in pairs. The diameter of the turning soft jaw should be the same as the diameter of the clamped workpiece. The size of the clamped workpiece and the size of the clamped workpiece cannot guarantee the clamping accuracy. Usually the diameter of the jaws is about 0.2 mm larger than the workpiece, ie the diameter of the clamping workpiece should be controlled within a certain tolerance. In order to eliminate the gap when turning the soft claws, a cylinder or seal of appropriate diameter must be installed inside or outside the jaws, and the clamping direction should be consistent with the direction of the workpiece. Otherwise, the positioning accuracy of the workpiece cannot be guaranteed. When the workpiece is clamped, the cylinder should be clamped in the jaw claw to make the surface of the chuck claw soft.
What should I pay attention to when installing a laser cartridge?
        1. When installing, inspecting or lubricating the chuck, be sure to turn off all power to ensure the safety of the operator;
        2. Do not operate the on-off valve when the spindle rotates. Do not separate the chucks or allow the workpiece or claws to contact the turret head before returning the turret head to a safe position;
        3. The number of turnings of the chuck should be selected according to the cutting conditions to prevent the workpiece from flying out and not exceeding the maximum allowable. Only when the jaws are designed according to specifications, the maximum speed of the spindle can only be reached during balancing and machining. The heavy unbalanced claw has a great influence on the maximum speed of the spindle, and the user should pay full attention to the design of the paw;
        4. Do not start the spindle switch before closing the safety door to avoid flying out of the workpiece or claws;
        5, should be regularly lubricated, so as to avoid bearing rust or parts wear, resulting in poor processing accuracy. Under the working environment conditions encountered during the use of the chuck, it is necessary to regularly perform maintenance on the chuck;
        6. Use a hydraulic station with a check valve to avoid pressure drop in the cylinder and fly out of the workpiece when the power is interrupted;
        7. Do not replace the chuck at will, so as not to damage the chuck. Worn or damaged claws should be replaced immediately to prevent the workpiece from flying out;
        8. Do not drink alcohol before operating the machine;
        9. Do not wear gloves or ties when operating the machine;
        10. When removing and assembling the chuck, you must use a sling or a lifting eye;
        11. When clamping the workpiece, please do not clamp it
        12. Do not hit the chuck to avoid the jaws or the workpiece flying out;
        13. Do not exceed the maximum oil pressure of the chuck to prevent the chuck from being damaged or flying out of the workpiece;
